The process of returning home after a hospital stay can present many critical challenges for the patient – especially for often vulnerable, older individuals. Each recovery is unique and different but for many, the management of once simple, basic activities can represent overwhelming difficulties.
Non-medical, rehabilitative home care provides the patient with monitoring, emotional support, medication reminders, meal preparation and more, enabling the former patient to quickly return to an active lifestyle.
In addition to this list of services provided to our clients recently released from hospital, is assistance in adapting to their ‘new normal’. Often, the formerly active individual will require guidance on adjusting to an altered lifestyle. We offer acclimatization advice as well as tips and techniques easily adopted. In this way, both the individual and their family members can become accustomed to changes in daily life, all within a secure, therapeutic environment.
Right Care aides are registered in the California Registry of Care givers with 10 years or more experience in both facility and home care settings. Our aides must pass a strict background check, drug testing, Tb test and driver’s license certifications.
There is no long-term contract with Right Care. Use our services for as long as you need them.
